Youth Summit in SingaporeAsian youth leaders forged an alternative to religious extremism and the violent abuse of religion in support of violence at the Summit of Asian Religious Youth Leaders, 4–7 September 2007 in Singapore. The event brought together youth representatives of major pan-Asian religious organizations and religious youth leaders from 18 countries.
The Summit was co-sponsored by Religions for Peace, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), and the Inter-religious Organization in Singapore (IRO).
