All of the world’s great religious traditions emphasize the intrinsic value of human life, and in recent decades religious communities have recognized their vital role in expressing moral outrage and acting against the inhumanity that people have time and again inflicted upon one another.

Religions for Peace has helped those communities work together to influence policy and take concrete action at the local, national, and international levels - from pressing for the development and implementation of international treaties to securing the release of child soldiers.
